A fire detection and alarm system has one purpose: to detect signs of fire as early as possible and alert people in the building. The type and placement of detectors depend on the rooms, ceiling heights, the presence of dust or steam, and the intended use of the premises.
Installation follows a design that defines the zones, detector types and alarm logic. Where specified in the design, the system is integrated with voice evacuation systems, access control and the control of other building systems.
Industrial sites often require specialised solutions — for example, for high-bay industrial buildings, warehouses or areas with more stringent requirements. We select equipment to suit the design conditions.
